  4. Cooling: Once the mold cavity is filled, the molten plastic is allowed to cool and solidify within the mold. Cooling may be accelerated using cooling channels built into the mold.
  5. Ejection: After the plastic has solidified, the mold opens, and the formed part is ejected from the mold cavity. Ejection may be assisted by ejector pins or other mechanisms.
  6. Finishing: The ejected parts may undergo additional finishing processes, such as trimming excess material, surface treatment, or assembly with other components.

Plastic molds can be customized for various shapes, sizes, and complexities, making them versatile tools for producing a wide range of plastic products, from simple household items to intricate automotive components. The design and fabrication of molds require expertise in engineering, machining, and materials science to ensure the quality and performance of the final plastic parts.
